Creating your Site

question How do I create my site?

answer Our site has been designed so that its simple to use.

There are 4 key stages for a successful site:-

1) Create a master account.

If you dont already have one create a new master account, this way you can link all of your sites together in one area!

2) Create your site.

Start by following the simple wizard, one you have done this your site will be created on the DateTec system. The next stage of creating your site is to select a design that you would like to use for your site, to do this click on 'preset designs', select the design you would like to use and then click on 'apply this design'. You will now need to change the site description that the user will see when they visit your site, to do this, click on the 'insideheaders' option from the left hand menu and click on 'edit' which is located to the right of the index field in the centre of the screen, changing any text in the index section will alter the text on your homepage. Similarly, changing the text on the 'links' option will alter any text that you have on your links page If you want to create new pages, click on the 'create new header' and a new page will be created for you.

3) Make your site known.

There is no point in creating the best site in the world if no one knows about it! Marketing your site is the most important element to making money online. There are several ways to market your site, and many of these services are free of charge, these include listing your site on search engines and exchanging links with other sites (adding their code into your 'inside headers' links page). You could also try advertising your site within local free newspapers etc.

4) Sit back and wait for your money to come.

Once people become aware of your site people will join your site and post an advert of themselves upon it. Several features including the sending of messages to other users are disabled for free members; this entices your customers to upgrade their accounts. When your customers upgrade, they enjoy the benefits of full membership upon site, and you enjoy the commission made from each upgrade.

5) You can customise, change, add to, redesign, change text, alter code and many more things on your site.

No one offers this degree of personalisation but remember if you don't want to do any of it then that's OK too.Set up the basics in a few minutes and away you go.Or take a deeper look at your site and change what you want. The choice is yours.
